- I am also in the market for an 030 accelerator for my A1200. I've
- heard good things about the performance of the Blizzard, but I've also
- heard that it's not quite as "standardized" as the CSA (Computer
- Systems Associates) 12-Gauge accelerator. I'm basing this on
- hear-say, and would like to hear other viewpoints. However, I know
- that the SCSI controller in the CSA is an A2091 look-a-like, which
- makes it reasonably standard. The SCSI in the latest Blizzard boards
- are SCSI-2, though, I think. People seem to have less troubles with
- the CSA, though, and the CSA is supposedly very well engineered, and
- also quite fast (for an 030 :-). CSA is even looking into using the
- 12-Gauge SCSI controller with Linux/m68k for me, essentially doing the
- grunt work so I don't have to.
